Обход Казахстана: Кыргызстан, Узбекистан и Россия формируют мультимодальный коридор через Каспийское море
Кыргызстан, Узбекистан и Россия согласовали создание мультимодального транспортного коридора, который будет проходить через Каспийское море. Эту информацию предоставила пресс-служба министерства транспорта Узбекистана после транспортного форума стран-членов ШОС, который прошел 1 ноября в Ташкенте.
Министр транспорта Узбекистана Ихлом Махкамов, его коллега из Кыргызстана Тилек Текебаев и замглавы Минтранса России Дмитрий Зверев подписали меморандум о взаимопонимании относительно создания и развития этого международного мультимодального транспортного коридора, который будет проходить через Россию, Каспийское море, Туркменистан, Узбекистан и Кыргызстан.
Следует отметить, что ранее Узбекистан выразил интерес к созданию новых международных транспортных маршрутов, включая участие России. Портал Kloop, ссылаясь на пресс-службу Минтранса Узбекистана, сообщает, что Кыргызстан заинтересован в создании этого коридора как альтернативы маршруту через Казахстан, который создает препятствия для импорта, в частности, российского зерна.
Новый маршрут "Южный коридор" предоставит Кыргызстану возможность выйти в Европу и Россию через Узбекистан, Туркменистан и Каспийское море. Важную роль в этой транспортной связи будет играть морской порт "Туркменбаши" в Туркменистане, через который товары будут направляться в Азербайджан, Грузию, Турцию и затем в Европу. Альтернативным маршрутом будет путь в российские города Махачкалу и Астрахань.
Кроме того, подписано соглашение о создании и развитии международного транспортного коридора, который охватывает Беларусь, Россию, Казахстан, Узбекистан, Афганистан и Пакистан. Под этим документом, помимо Илхома Махкамова и Дмитрия Зверева, подписался замглавы Минтранса Казахстана Талгат Ластаев.
Circumventing Kazakhstan: Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Russia Form Multimodal Corridor via the Caspian Sea
Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Russia have agreed to establish a multimodal transportation corridor that will pass through the Caspian Sea, as revealed by the press service of the Uzbek Ministry of Transport following the SCO member countries' transport forum held on November 1st in Tashkent.
The Uzbek Minister of Transport, Ilkhom Makhkamov, his Kyrgyz counterpart Tilek Tekebayev, and the Deputy Head of the Russian Ministry of Transport, Dmitry Zverev, signed a memorandum of understanding regarding the creation and development of this international multimodal transport corridor, which will traverse Russia, the Caspian Sea, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan.
It should be noted that Uzbekistan had previously expressed interest in creating new international transport routes, including with Russia's involvement. The Kloop portal, citing the Uzbek Ministry of Transport press service, reports that Kyrgyzstan is interested in creating this corridor as an alternative to the route through Kazakhstan, which has been creating barriers for imports, particularly of Russian grain.
The new "Southern Corridor" route will provide Kyrgyzstan with an opportunity to access Europe and Russia via Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, and the Caspian Sea. A significant role in this transport link will be played by the seaport "Turkmenbashi" in Turkmenistan, through which goods will be directed to Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkey, and then to Europe. An alternative route will be through the Russian cities of Makhachkala and Astrakhan.
Furthermore, an agreement has been signed on the creation and development of an international transport corridor that includes Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, and Pakistan.
